Detroit headlines teams targeting Charlotte's Coby White in free agency

Charlotte Hornets fans were concerned earlier this week, following a report from Marc Stein that indicated recent trade acquisition Coby White could be "gettable" in free agency by opposing teams this offseason. With that in mind, besides Charlotte, what other franchises could be interested in the former UNC guard?

Stein has already reported that Detroit has interest in White, as the Pistons look for a shot-creator off the bench behind Cade Cunningham. In addition to Detroit, the Brooklyn Nets would likely be interested in signing White as well. Of all the suitors, Brooklyn could be the most dangerous, as the Nets are among teams with the most cap space at their disposal this summer. If unable to re-sign Ayo Dosunmu, the Minnesota Timberwolves would be a logical fit for White too.

Lastly, teams that considered making a move for White at last February's trade deadline could have renewed interest in the seven-year pro. Those teams include the Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks and the Los Angeles Clippers.
