Germany are hoping to banish the memories of their past two World Cups by mounting a serious challenge for the trophy in 2026.

The four-time winners suffered group-stage exits at the previous two editions of the tournament, winning just twice in six matches in Russia and Qatar combined.

This year, Julian Nagelsmann and his players will be determined to progress to the latter stages of the newly expanded competition, even if the depth of talent at his disposal is not quite what it was when Germany won their most recent World Cup in 2014.

When is Germany's next match at World Cup 2026?

Germany have already qualified for the knockouts ahead of their final group match against Ecuador.

The match is scheduled for Thursday, June 25 at 4 p.m. from MetLife Stadium.

How to watch Germany matches at World Cup 2026

TV channel: FOX, FS1

FOX is the main English-language FIFA broadcast partner in the United States, and will have the rights to the 2026 FIFA World Cup on home soil.

The broadcaster has announced that all 104 matches of the tournament will be televised throughout the competition. 69 matches from the competition will air on the main FOX network channel, while 35 others will be televised on FS1.

For Spanish-language coverage, all 104 matches will stream live on Peacock, with 92 matches airing on Telemundo and 12 on Universo.

All those channels, both English and Spanish, are available to stream in the United States on fubo, who are offering a FREE trial for new users.

Every match will also stream live on FOX One and the FOX Sports app.

Germany World Cup 2026 draw bracket for Group E

The winner of Group E will enter the knockout stage scheduled to take on a third-place qualifier from either Group A, B, C, D or F.

The Group E runner-up enters the bottom half of the bracket and will meet the Group I runner-up.

The third-place finisher in Group E has six potential landing spots in the bracket, but only eight groups will have a third-place qualifier for the knockout stage.

Until all third-place qualifiers are known, it cannot be predicted where or when they could potentially play, because there are 495 mathematical combinations of third-place qualifiers.
