Barcelona phenom Lamine Yamal has his first World Cup goal, scoring the opener for Spain against Saudi Arabia on Sunday in Atlanta.
Mikel Oyarzabal drove the left side off a Saudi turnover and fired a low cross through the six to the back post where Yamal slid the ball over the line from close range.

It's also Spain's first goal of this World Cup after La Roja were blanked by Cabo Verde in one of the tournament's best early stories (albeit not for Spain).
Yamal will turn 19 during the tournament but is already a EURO champion having scored against France at EURO 2024. He's thrice won La Liga with Barca and has a Copa del Rey in his trophy cabinet and finished Ballon d'Or runner-up in 2025.
