Max Lowe has signed a new deal to stay at Sheffield Wednesday for the upcoming season.
The 29-year-old, who can operate in defence or midfield, was out of contract this summer.
But Lowe has agreed a one-year deal with the option of an additional year to remain at Hillsborough despite receiving offers from Championship clubs.

The Owls were relegated to League One following an 18-point deduction for financial issues under former owner Dejphon Chansiri.
Wednesday are aiming to rebuild in the 2026-27 campaign under the new ownership of US consortium Arise Capital Partners, led by American executive David Storch, 73.
Lowe said he was "delighted to get this sorted as quickly as we could" and praised the hard work behind the scenes through a challenging time for the club.
He also described the final day of last season - in which the completion of the takeover by the new owners was announced before a 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion - as "special".

"It's a special club and I felt like that was just a teaser of what's to come," he told the club website.
"The fans have been great with me since day one and I'm loving the support. I can only thank them."
Lowe has made 66 appearances for the Owls since his arrival in 2024 from city rivals Sheffield United, where he played 18 Premier League games during a four-year spell.
