Myles Garrett is destined for the Pro Football Hall of Fame after he retires from the NFL, but that’s a long way out considering he’s still squarely in his prime. Another Hall of Fame is going to recognize Garrett fairly soon, though.
On Monday, Texas A&M announced that Garrett is one of eight athletes who will be inducted into the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame in the Class of 2026. Garrett is the only former Aggies football player who will be enshrined in the class.

Garrett played at Texas A&M from 2014-2016 before being drafted first overall by the Browns in 2017. He had 32.5 career sacks, which is good for sixth in school history, and was a first-team All-American in 2016.
Statistically, his best season came in 2015 when he had 12.5 sacks and 19.5 tackles for a loss to go with 59 total tackles, one interception and five forced fumbles.
The Rams acquired Garrett from the Browns this offseason, trading three draft picks and Jared Verse to Cleveland for the two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year. This will be his first chance to truly compete for a Super Bowl ring after making the playoffs only twice in his nine years with the Browns.
