The Netherlands will be hoping to challenge for the latter stages of the World Cup when their campaign continues.

The Oranje boast the ignominious record of being the only nation in history to reach the World Cup final three times and fail to win any of them, with the last of those coming in 2010, when they lost to Spain.

After missing out on the 2018 tournament, the Dutch reached the quarterfinals in Qatar four years ago, and anything less than a repeat of that feat in North America will be considered a disappointment. Their group looks a little tricky on paper, though, with games against Japan, Sweden and Tunisia to navigate.

Here is everything you need to know about the Netherlands' appearance at the World Cup, including the latest results from the tournament.

When is Netherlands' next match at World Cup 2026?

Netherlands are on the brink of qualification for the knockouts and can secure that with a positive outcome against Tunisia.
