Michael Olise is enjoying a fantastic World Cup for France.
The Frenchman provided two assists in France’s 3-0 win over Iran, and has played a big role in helping his side reach the knockout rounds.
Olise registered 26 assists for Bayern Munich in the 2025-26 campaign, but his future has come under speculation time and again.

Real Madrid transfer threat for Michael Olise
Florentino Perez dropped a huge bombshell last month when he claimed that Real Madrid would make a €150m bid for a player who does not play in the Premier League.
While he did not mention the name, it became quite evident that he was referring to Olise.
Paris Saint-Germain are also thought to be interested in signing the former Crystal Palace winger, but Madrid “really want him”.
Bayern have already made it clear that Olise will not be sold at any price this summer, and they are not prepared to listen to any transfer discussion regarding the attacker.
Bayern Munich planning new contract for Michael Olise
Christian Falk exclusively told CFBayern Insider that Bayern are planning a new contract offer for Olise, where they want to double his wages.

The Bild journalist said: “Bayern want to nearly double Michael Olise’s wages in Munich as part of a deal to keep him at the club until 2031. You’ve heard the saying, if in trouble, make it double.
“The trouble is from Real Madrid – they really want him, and they’re fully aware of just how good he was in the Bundesliga this season. He was the player of the year in Germany and has enjoyed a remarkable transformation since his €50m move from Crystal Palace. It wasn’t a €100m deal like Harry Kane’s, which is why his salary isn’t up to par with the likes of the Englishman or Jamal Musiala. He’s right in the middle of the squad’s earners, so about €15m.
“Now, of course, he’s one of the most important players in the first XI, so he deserves more money. That’s why FC Bayern are prepared to give Michael Olise more money, and their argument is that if they’re prepared to offer more money, perhaps the France international can give them a few more years on the contract. In Germany, you can make a deal up to five years long, so the idea would be a contract until 2031. With that in mind, he can get closer to the top earners at Bayern Munich at around €25m a year.”
Bayern Munich are planning to offer a new contract to Konrad Laimer, who is likely to extend his stay at the Allianz Arena.
Olise has always maintained that he is enjoying his time in Germany, and Bayern see him as a big part of their future plans.
