Football: 2027 EDGE Daniel Ottens commits to TCU

On Saturday, TCU gained a commitment from an international prospect with just two years of football experience and a tremendous amount of athleticism. Daniel Ottens, a 6-foot-5, 260-pound 2027 EDGE prospect from AVO Academy in Nurnberg, Germany, announced his pledge for the Horned Frogs over UTEP and Hampton. Ottens becomes the 16th overall recruit and the second EDGE prospect of the 2027 class for TCU, which now ranks 51st.

Ottens, who also has offers from Lamar and Delaware, participated in the TCU Mega Camp in Fort Worth on June 5. Ottens picked up his TCU offer on June 5 and committed to the program just over two weeks later.
